According to the Daily Mail, Prenger will give her last performance on 27 March, with Ellis taking over from 29 March 2010.

Kerry Ellis (Wicked, We Will Rock You) has being lined up to take over from Jodie Prenger as Nancy in the current West End production of Oliver! at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

look there’s a French and Saunders special on at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Calling it “still alive” preempts comments such as “Oh I didn’t know they were still going”. An extra something that could be added on to a London theatre break perhaps.
